Francisco Franco - dictatorul care a condus Spania 36 de ani - una dintre cele mai lungi dictaturi din lume. Și-a luat titlu de Caudillo. A obținut puterea în urma războiului civil spaniol din 1936-1939. Nu a participat în cel de-al doilea război mondial, deși în războiul civil a fost masiv ajutat de Germania nazistă și Italia fascistă.
